The Night Sky Over Bellingrath
On Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, weather permitting, Bellingrath Gardens and Home will present an Astronomy program for families. This is an Astronomy program for families. Astronomers from the Physics Department of the University of South Alabama will be on Bellingrath's Great Lawn to help families view the night sky and learn more about what they see. Two telescopes will be available during the program. Guests are encouraged to bring their own telescopes, binoculars, blankets and/or chairs. There will be discounted admission for the evening; adults $5, children $1 and members are free. Reservations are requested.
