After a warm and humid start with areas of patchy fog…a low-deck of clouds have formed with moisture flow and daytime heating.
The BLOCKING PATTERN continues with an area of high-pressure to our east, with a southerly flow from the GOM, more humid air will continue to move into the region with an approaching cold front to the west. As the front approaches the W’tern zones it will stall though the weekend before lifting north. As it stalls in the area, the moisture flow coupled with daytime heating will bring a slight possibility (20-30% for afternoon showers/t-storms through Saturday.
Sunday the front will begin to break down the area of high-pressure and eject to the NE. This will elevate rain potential to close-out the weekend.
