Science can be fun when it comes to learning about space. A group of D’Iberville Elementary students had a chance to learn about space hands on today.
Kindergartners blasted into space Wednesday morning as two representatives from NASA talked all things space. Eight classes sat on the edge of their chairs as they learned about what it takes to be an astronaut and what it’s like to go into space. Kindergarten Teacher Renee Wynn said, “Our kids are learning all about space, astronauts, the orbit, all of the planets, and career opportunities. They are very excited and they have loved our presentation this morning and they are enjoying talking about it every day this week for the next three weeks.”
Students also had a chance to try out how it feels to sleep as an astronaut in space.
