Hurricane Nate officially made landfall near the Mouth of the Mississippi River this evening. The newest update doesn’t have much change. Hurricane Nate continues to have winds of 85 mph and is expected to make landfall in South Mississippi bringing 7-11 feet of storm surge and wind gusts over 90 mph. Tropical storm force winds should begin in South Mississippi over the next hour, and conditions will go downhill as the center of Nate approaches the Gulf Coast near midnight.
