The chance for waterspouts will continue across the coast this morning and into the early afternoon. There is also the threat for flash flooding as the heavy thunderstorms continue to move over the same locations. These storms will continue in the area until this afternoon, until another round of showers and thunderstorms push through the area. These will be associated with a strong cold front moving into the South Mississippi. While there is a marginal chance for a severe storm, we are not expecting any widespread severe weather. Storms have the potential to produce gusty winds, lightning and heavy downpours. Lingering showers and clouds we follow behind these storms as the cold front pushed through the area, and finally we will clear out late tonight into tomorrow morning.
