Memorial Health Services holds White Coat Ceremony
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Wednesday night, Memorial Health Services introduced a new class of resident physicians at their white coat ceremony.
This event was held on the 15th floor of the Hancock Whitney Building in Downtown Gulfport.
Those in attendance got to enjoy food and drinks with the beautiful back drop of Gulfport’s beach.
This ceremony marked the point that these young physicians make the transition from medical school to full residency physicians.
These doctors will spend at least three more years working in the Memorial Health System in their chosen field.
Each doctor was given their white coats, which in the medical world is a huge moment to show the transition from medical student to resident physician.
